Research Interests:
Khadija Shalbi was a research assistant in SAIL. She worked on several projects together with Prof. Margaret Shih and Dr. Serena Does related to multiracial identities.
Biography:Khadija is a fourth-year undergraduate student at UCLA. She will be graduating with a major in Biology and a minor in Arabic and Islamic Studies. After graduating, she will be taking a year off in which she will be spending some time in Egypt and then returning to the States to work at a hospital. After this gap year, she will attend medical school to accomplish her goal of becoming a surgeon.
